ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified aviation patch in felt with a wing and two crossed cannon in brass at center. Because of its construction and the French wording on the fasteners, it is possible that this badge is from some country in former French Indo-China. The patch is a red pentagon.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 1-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads with brass.

ATTACHMENT: Four eye-hooks.

MARKINGS: DEPOSE on hooks.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until identified. LX11/10 SAJJX3/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Patch shows light to medium wear and light tarnishing on the brass.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
