BEING RESEARCHED - Unidentified Numbered Chinese Badge with W.E.S.

This is an unidentified numbered Chinese badge. The badge is enameled in blue and shows a white five-pointed star at its center bordered in yellow. Within that star is a sun with four smaller red stars, and the letters W, E and S are each written on an separate arm of the star. There is also some Chinese writing in the background and within the bottom the large star.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter.

Plated brass with enameled areas.

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
