ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified Prussian war service or veteran's medal for the Battle of Rydultau (or Rydultowy) in Poland. The medal is cross-shaped and has a W beneath a crown at its center for Wilhelm. The front of the medal reads MIT GOTT FR KNIG UND VATERLAND (with God for King and the Fatherland) and the reverse reads KRIEG-VER. RYDUL- TAU 1873.

VINTAGE: Circa Imperial Germany.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension loop.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAX95 LX1/13

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The medal shows light wear.
