Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified triangular badge from Dayton, Kentucky that shows the initials CA (or AC), possibly for some sort of association. The badge is reminiscent of an 1870s-1880s style of law enforcement badge.

VINTAGE:

Possibly circa 1870s-1880s.

SIZE:

1-3/8" height and 1-7/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical T-style pin with "C" catch.
