Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unusual circa 1920s or 1930s New Jersey police badge, possibly for the early State Police. The badge is small and has an applied State Seal.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/16" in width and 1-5/16" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
