BEING RESEARCHED - "SM 80" Wing Lapel Pin with White Details - NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDed

This is an unidentified lapel wing, perhaps for an aviation company. It bears the letters SM and has a small white square reading 80 at its center.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 1/4" in height and 1" in width.

Plated brass with painted details.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
