ARTIFACT:

This is a pilot wing for an unidentified airline. The wing reads S G with a beautifully enameled blue bird with an upturned beak spreading its wings in between the two letters.
VINTAGE:Circa unknown.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 3-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two screw posts with disc backings.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. MBEX5/96 LX8/11
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some light wear and tarnish and all enamel is intact.
