Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1860s or 1870s naval insignia for an unknown country. The badge is a large anchor and is made in silver-plated brass.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1860s-1870s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical T-style pin with C catch.

None.
