BEING RESEARCHED - "COMET" Lapel Wing by J. O. Pollack Co. Chicago - NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDed

This is an unidentified lapel wing by J. O. Pollack Co. Chicago. At its center is a crest reading COMET against a black field .The wing could possibly be related to the first commercial jetliner of the same name.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 3/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

Gold-plated brass with painted details.

Horizontal safety-style pin.
