ARTIFACT: This is a beautifully made circa 1930s miniature New York City Police lieutenant badge. The badge shows the New York City seal at center (a colonist and a Native American greeting one another).

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine_): The badge has some light wear and some very small spots of oxidation.
