Description
This is a beautiful World War II Royal Canadian Air Force pilot mess dress wing. The wing is Canadian-made in hand-engraved silver. It has a very airy design, and the crown at the top is three-dimensional. The maker mark is illegible.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in height and 2-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Hand-engraved silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING; hard-to-read maker mark (R? DN? in a circle).
