This is a beautiful World War II shoulder patch made in the China-Burma-India theatre for the United States Army Air Forces. The patch has a great 2nd Air Commandos bullion tab attached.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/2" in height and 4-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool patch embroidered in silk/cotton and bullion threads with wool backing; fully embroidered attached tab in silk and bullion threads with muslin backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCAJX11 LEJJX4/11 SEJJX7/11
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The patch shows only very light wear and tarnish to the bullion.
