ARTIFACT: Beautiful WWI Croce Rossa Italiana (Italian Red Cross) enameled member badge by Johnson in Milano. The center of the shield-shaped badge is a raised, white enamel disc with a red cross and the surrounding is detail in green enamel. The reverse stud shows a maker's mark that reads: "S. JOHNSON MILANO".

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height x 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled & gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Lapel stud.

MARKINGS: S. JOHNSON MILANO

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge shows very light wear, all of the enamel and gilt brass details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
