ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful Japanese-made US Army 14th Anti-Aircraft Command Patch circa 1947-47. It is wonderfully embroidered in silk. The stitches are very well done and have seen little to no wear. There are fourteen stars lining the outer circle, surrounding two "A's" to signify "Anti-Aircraft."
VINTAGE:
Circa 1946-47.
SIZE:
Approximately 3-1/8" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Embroidered silk thread on silk with bullion details.
ATTACHMENT:
To be sewn onto uniform.

CONDITION:
9 (Excellent / Near Mint): Very minimal wear. No frays in the thread and only a few split seams on the obverse. The reverse has slightly more wear, but overall this patch is in excellent condition
