This is a beautiful Japanese-made US Army 14th Anti-Aircraft Command Patch circa 1947-47. It is wonderfully embroidered in silk. The stitches are very well done and have seen little to no wear. There are fourteen stars lining the outer circle, surrounding two "A's" to signify "Anti-Aircraft."
Approximately 3-1/8" in diameter
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Embroidered silk thread on silk
This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGEX16 LCIEX01/17
9 (ExcellentÑNear Mint): Very minimal wear. No frays in the thread and only a few split seams on the obverse. The reverse has slightly more wear, but overall this patch is in excellent condition
GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
