ARTIFACT: Beautiful United States Army WWII Occupation Period, Aleutian Islands Command bullion and silk shoulder patch. This example is German-made on woven wool and the center shows a red, blue, and yellow 'rainbow' and above it reads: "ALEUTIAN ISLANDS".

VINTAGE: Circa WWII Occupation Period, 1944 - 1946.

SIZE: Approximately 3-11/16" x 3-10/16".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered woven wool, bullion, cotton/silk/polyester threads, canvas and treated canvas backings.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJ16 LBGEX9/16 SBEJX12/19

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, light soiling, scrapbook residue on reverse, was removed from uniform, handsome patina, overall excellent condition.
