Beautiful Sterling WWII Barbers Point Naval Air Station Patriotic Badge "We Will Not Let Them Down"

Beautiful sterling WWII Barbers Point Naval Air Station, Hawaii patriotic badge by Whitehead & Hoag Co. in Newark, New Jersey. The red, white, and blue shield shaped, enameled badge shows a winged blue circle in the center with the letters: "BP" and beneath it reads: "NAVAL AIR STATION" and above a white scroll or banner reads: "WE WILL NOT LET THEM DOWN". The very top center of the badge features red, crossed anchors with a five point star in raised detail.
