Description
Great look! This is a beautiful and scarce circa early 1930s deputy sheriff six-point star badge for Los Angeles County, California. This is a probationary badge that would have been given to new deputies before an actual numbered badge was issued to them. The badge has blue enamel details and bears the California grizzly bear at its center. There is lovely beading along the edges and a small wheat-like decoration that just makes you think amber waves of grain.
