Beautiful period framed Civil War History of the 15th Regiment, Connecticut Volunteer Infantry printed in the 1870's - 1880's. Original frame, glass, and matte, but the backing was replaced in 201The top of the document reads: "FIFTEENTH REGIMENT CONN. VOLUNTEER INFANTRY". The bottom lists the regiments engagements; "FREDERICKSBURG, VA., DEC, 1862; EDENTON ROAD, VA., APRIL 24, 1863; PROVIDENCE CHURCH ROAD, VA., MAY 3, 1863; KINSTON, N. C., MARCH 8, 1865" and below are the list of fallen members either "KILLED IN ACTION", "DIED OF WOUNDS", "MISSING", "DIED OF DISEASE", and "DISCHARGED".
