ARTIFACT: Beautiful period framed Civil War History of the 15th Regiment, Connecticut Volunteer Infantry printed in the 1870's - 1880's. Original frame, glass, and matte, but the backing was replaced in 2015. The top of the document reads: "FIFTEENTH REGIMENT CONN. VOLUNTEER INFANTRY". The bottom lists the regiments engagements; "FREDERICKSBURG, VA., DEC, 1862; EDENTON ROAD, VA., APRIL 24, 1863; PROVIDENCE CHURCH ROAD, VA., MAY 3, 1863; KINSTON, N. C., MARCH 8, 1865" and below are the list of fallen members either "KILLED IN ACTION", "DIED OF WOUNDS", "MISSING", "DIED OF DISEASE", and "DISCHARGED".

VINTAGE: Circa 1870's - 1880's

SIZE: Approximately 20" x 14"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood frame, glass, matte, paper, ink, wire

ATTACHMENT: Wire for wall hanging.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The original frame shows mild to moderate wear, the document and matte show slight age wear/discoloration, which adds to its appeal, overall excellent condition.
