This is a Beautiful Old 1920's San Mateo California Deputy Sheriff 7 point Star Badge by Irvine & Jachens.

1920s.

Approximately 2-1/8" in height x 2" in width.

Chrome plated nickel plated nickel with painted lettering.

Vertical kick pin with tongue-type 'C' catch.
