This is a beautiful old circa 1910s or 1920s police officer grave marker plaque from Gloucester, Massachusetts. Gloucester is one of the oldest communities in Massachusetts, chartered in 1623, becoming a legendary fishing community on Cape Ann. The shield-shaped plaque is in bronze and has a New York maker mark on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910s-1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 6-1/2" in height and 5-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze.
ATTACHMENT:Brackets.
