Description
This is a circa 1920s badge for the Everett, Massachusetts Police Department. The badge is numbered on reverse and was made by Robbins Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts. The badge was modified during the 1930s as the style of police badges changed, with the removal of the traditional arm of Miles Standish holding a sword. It was also chromed during the same period.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
