ARTIFACT: This is a Beautiful Late 1930's Monterey County California 7 point Star Deputy Sheriff Badge by Ed Jones.

VINTAGE: Late 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 3" in height x 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: "Blue" Chrome-plated brass, with hard fired blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS:

ED. JONES & CO.
OAKLAND,CAL.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJFX21 LHIEX03/05/22 SGEJX05/22

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The badge shows light wear, and beautiful patina. There is an odd area of darkening on back that would probably clean up by about 75-80% with some metal polish. I think when the badge was made some flux was left on the back of the badge before the plating process, leaving this darkened area. It is not quite as dark in-hand as it is in the images.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
