This is a Circa 1940 Solano County California Deputy Sheriff Circle Star Badge # B70 by Ed Jones. This WWII era Badge has a small hole at about 9:00. This appears to have been done by the manufacture, and might have been added to apply a Year Date Day or the like.

Circa 1940.

Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
