Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful circa Korean War United States Navy pilot wing embroidered in bullion. The wing has been removed from a uniform. The majority of the bullion is gold but the shoulders of the wings are silvery.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1950s (Korean War).

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/4" in height by 3-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool embroidered in bullion thread, cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

MARKINGS:

None.
