Beautiful early 1950's United States Coast Guard Cutter Rockaway (WAVP-377) hammered aluminum ashtray. Beautiful detailed image of ship in the center and surrounding it reads: "C. G. C. ROCKAWAY WAVP ??? 377" in embossed lettering. The Rockaway was a weather reporting ship station at Staten Island in New York. Suitable for cigars or cigarettes, in near mint, unused condition.
