Beautiful Chinese-Made Hand-Embroidered 5307th Composite Unit "Merrill's Marauders" Shoulder

This is a beautiful Chinese-made, hand-embroidered shoulder patch for the United States Army 5307th Composite Unit (provisional), aka "Merrill's Marauders". The patch is shaped like a shield and divided into two blue and two green quadrants, with a white sun and star separated by a diagonal red lightning bolt.

Circa World War II.

3-13/16" height and 2-3/4" width.

Fully hand-embroidered in cotton/silk threads with muslin backing on edge only.

Five snap attachments.
