ARTIFACT:
This is a Beautiful circa1968 Jockey on Thoroughbred Race Horse #6 Hand Engraved Silver Brooch.
This brooch's design is probably based on Dr. Fager’s win in the 1968 Washington Park Handicap. Carrying 134 pounds and facing a talented field of rivals, Dr. Fager had prevailed with astonishing ease, effortlessly pulling away in the homestretch to win by 10 lengths without any urging from jockey Braulio Baeza.

Circa 1968.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-1/8" in height x 2-5/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Sterling silver.
