Beautiful Ca. 1944 USAAF 12th Air Force Scarf with Fighter & Bomber Aircraft & Plane Names
ARTIFACT: Beautiful circa 1944 United States Army Air Forces 12th Air Force rayon scarf featuring fighter and bomber aircraft and plane names. Surrounding the names are images of aircraft and emblems: blue triangles that feature a white five point star and a red circle bearing the number "12" in the center with golden colored wings above. Patent and design #0140144 approved in 1944 and therefore, the "PATENT PENDING" mark dates the scarf to 1944.
