This is a beautiful circa 1939 Sports Competition Day tinnie or badge for SA Gruppe Hochland. The tinnie shows a vertical short sword against an edelweiss and reads SA-GRUPPE HOCHLAND 1939 SA-GRUPPEN WETTKAMPFE. The badge was made in Munich and has a great maker mark on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1939.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stamped brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:RZM mark KLOTZU KIENAST MUNCHEN M 9/3.
