ARTIFACT: This is a Beautiful 1931 United States Marine Corps China Marine Ransom Challenge Cup Silver Shooting Trophy of Gunnery Sergeant T. J. Jones Made in China.

Engraved on the front:

RANSOM CHALLENGE CUP

VINTAGE: 1931.

SIZE: Approximately: Silver Cup: 5-3/8" in height x 4-1/8" in width (Handle to Handle). Top: 2-1/2" in diameter / Bottom: 1-15/16" in diameter. Wooden Stand: Bottom 2-3/4" in diameter x 1-1/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chinese Silver. Wood stand.

ATTACHMENT: Handle.

MARKINGS: Chinese Maker Mark 

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USMC collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PEJK22 LHIEX04/20/25

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The cup shows some tarnish and no damage, and overall, it is in excellent condition.
