ARTIFACT: Beautiful 1930's United States Department of Commerce 10 years of service lapel badge in high art deco design by Metal Arts Co. The center shows the emblem of the US Commerce Department, an eagle with a 'halo' of stars and clutching arrows and oak leaves in its talons while perched atop a shield that shows a ship in the center in nice raised detail. The outer edge reads: "DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE 10 YEARS" in embossed lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 9/16" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback

MARKINGS: "METAL ARTS CO. ROCH. N.Y."
