Beautiful 1930's – 1940's Somerville, Massachusetts Police Sergeant custom die hat badge in gilt brass. The center shows a soldier standing with flag in hand and a city skyline in the background, surrounding it reads: "MUNICIPAL FREEDOM GIVES NATIONAL STRENGTH SOMERVILLE FOUNDED IN 1842 ESTABLISHED A CITY 1872" and the bottom reads: "SERGT".
