Description
This is a Beautiful 1920's-1930's Contra Costa County California Deputy Sheriff Badge of John Kinstrey. Kinstrey was also a Richmond Police Officer & Inspector during his career, and eventually a Siskyou County Judge. He lived from 1888 to 1967.
VINTAGE:1920s - 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 1-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold Fill on brass with Hard Fired Enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.

CONDITION:6+ (Very Fine): The Badge shows Considerable wear to obverse, but does not detract, has a great "Been There" look. Nice mellow patina on reverse.
