Description
Beautiful 1910's Los Angeles County Special Deputy badge in exceptional condition. The entire badge is made with lovely detail, an eagle sits atop the badge with head bowed and wings spread. The center shows a stylized plate with the number "TZ43" and surrounding scrolls or banners that read: "SPECIAL L.A. CO. CAL." and along the base of the badge it reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF" in embossed lettering.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in height x 1-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stamped nickel plated nickel, black paint.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety style pin with 'C' type catch.
