Description

ARTIFACT:

Beautiful 1905 pop-out Indian Head Penny badge. The center features a nicely detailed head with feather headdress and surrounding the outer edge it reads: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 1905" in embossed detail. This example is scarce with: "PAT. NOV. 22 1904" on an applied panel on reverse with original pin and in excellent condition.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1905.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/4" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Stamped gilt copper.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with "C" type catch.

"PAT. NOV. 22 1904
