This is a Beautiful 1850's - 1860' Boston Massachusetts City Council Police Powers Badge in Coin Silver. Variation - the word POLICE is usually in raised lettering, while on this badge it is stamped in.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1850's - 1860's.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/8" in height x 1-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Coin Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical T-style pin with C catch.
