ARTIFACT: Beautiful circa 1770's - 1780's shoe buckles in coin silver and steel. Marker marked "NxS" or "SxN" (see photo).

VINTAGE: Circa 1770's - 1780's

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/4" in length x 2" in width x 1" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Coin silver and steel.

ATTACHMENT: Hinged prongs.

MARKINGS: "NxS" or "SxN"

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The buckles show mild to moderate wear and oxidation, overall handsome patina.
