This is a circa 1940s 15 years of service pin for Bird Machine Company of South Walpole, Massachusetts. Bird was established around the turn of the last century and initially specialized in paper manufacturing machinery. The pin is in 10 karat gold with red and blue enamel by Whitehead & Hoag.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:WH (Whitehead & Hoag mark) 10K TOP.
