ARTIFACT: This is a paperback first edition copy of "B-17 Flying Fortress", Weapons Book Number 40 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by William Hess, this volume deals with the history of the Boeing bomber nicknamed the "Flying Fortress" starting with its development in the 1930s. It has several black and white photographs and was published in 1974. VINTAGE: Published 1974.

SIZE: 160 pages; approximately 8-1/4" in height and 5-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glossy card stock cover, paper.
