ARTIFACT: This is a paperback first edition copy of "Grenades & Mortars", Weapons Book Number 37 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by Ian Hogg, this volume deals with the explosive resurrection of both weapons after they were judged as outdated in the late nineteenth century. It has several black and white photographs and was published in 1974.
