ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover copy of "Airplanes of the World 1490-1962". The book deals with almost five centuries of aircraft from around the world, beginning with a glider fashioned by Da Vinci. The book has several illustrations and was published by Simon & Schuster. The painted cloth cover is in excellent condition.

VINTAGE: Circa 1962.

SIZE: 354 pages with many black and white illustrations; approximately 8-5/8" in height and 5-3/4" in width and 1-3/16" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth-bound cover, paper.
