82nd Airborne Div. Gliderborne Chained Sweetheart Pin

This is a 82nd Division Airborne lapel pin with chain to wing.

Circa 1943-44.

Airborne Pin: About 13/32" in width by 21/32" in height; Wing: About 9/16" in width by 1/4" in height; Chain: About 1-5/8" in length.

Sterling with red, white and blue enamel accents.

Airborne Pin: Vertical pin with a "come-under" locking catch; Wing: Horizontal pin with a "drop-in" locking catch.

Airborne Pin: H.R.NEW ROME N.Y. STERLING; Wing: STERLING.
