This is a large 1980s Virginia State Police patch. It is embroidered in gold thread on black cotton and shows the state seal and motto: SIC SEMPER TYRANNUS (thus always to tyrants).
VINTAGE:Circa 1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 6-5/8" in height and 4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, vinylized mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
