ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1980's pilot hat badge Type I for Transamerica Airlines, which operated out of Oakland, California from 1979 until 198The badge has a green "T" at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1980's.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 2-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass, painted areas.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts with clutch-backs, stabilization post.

MARKINGS:

None.
