ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1980s pilot hat badge for Interstate Airlines (IA). Interstate operated out of Detroit (Willow Run), Michigan starting in 197The badge is enameled and shows a vertical arrow formed from the letters I and A at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1980s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.
