This is a 1979 paperback copy of "Firefox 5: Ironmaking, Blacksmithing, Flintlock Rifles, Bear Hunting, and Other Affairs of Plain Living" by Eliot Wigginton. The book was written by Wigginton, a teacher who moved to the Appalachian Mountains and recorded the skills of many people surviving in largely the same way as their forebears. This book was first published by Anchor Press, and had been in a magazine format up until then. It is a great reference book for Doomsdayers and other folk alike.
