ARTIFACT: This is a large hardcover copy of "Guns and Rifles of the World" by Howard L. Blackmore, World War II arms instructor and founder of the British Arms and Armour Society. This volume includes information on guns from the fourteenth until the mid-nineteenth century, and was the first to deal with air, gas, steam and electricity-propulsion firearms. This copy of the book has its original dust jacket, and was published in 1965 by the Viking Press.

VINTAGE: Circa 1965.

SIZE: 134 pages with black-and-white photographs and illustrations; approximately 12" in height and 9" in width and 1-1/16" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cloth-bound cover, paper, glossy paper dust jacket.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.
