1977 Edition of "Battle of Britain" Time-Life Books World War II Series by Leonard Mosley

This is a hardcover copy of "Battle of Britain" by Leonard Mosley, a volume in the Time-Life Books World War II series. The extensive volume deals with the the devastation of the months-long Battle of Britain in 1940. The book has its original dust jacket. There are several large and impressive black-and-white photographs, some that are almost surreal: scenes of the Nazi-occupied Channel Islands and a barrage balloon anchored to the Tower Bridge in London. There are also a handful of color illustrations.
