ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover copy of "Battle of Britain" by Leonard Mosley, a volume in the Time-Life Books World War II series. The extensive volume deals with the the devastation of the months-long Battle of Britain in 1940. The book has its original dust jacket. There are several large and impressive black-and-white photographs, some that are almost surreal: scenes of the Nazi-occupied Channel Islands and a barrage balloon anchored to the Tower Bridge in London. There are also a handful of color illustrations.

VINTAGE: Published 1977.

SIZE: 208 pages; approximately 11-1/2" in height and 9-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper dust jacket, paperboard cover, paper.
