ARTIFACT: This is a paperback first edition copy of "DC-3", Weapons Book Number 44 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by Arthur Pearcy, this volume deals with the workhorse aircraft by Douglas that was used by the military during the war and became popular with commercial airlines as well. It has several black and white photographs and was published in 1975. SIZE: 160 pages; approximately 8-1/4" in height and 5-7/16" in width.
