ARTIFACT: This is a paperback first edition copy of "Yamashita", War Leader Book Number 24 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by A.J. Barker, this volume focuses on Tomoyuki Yamashita, Imperial Japanese Army General known as the "Tiger or Malaya" and the "Beast of Bataan". The book has several black and white photographs and was published in 1973. SIZE: 160 pages; approximately 8-1/4" in height and 5-7/16" in width.
